ProHealth Summer REU

During my 10 weeks in the ProHealth Summer 2018 Research Undergraduate Experience Program, I made contributions to two health informatics research studies: Investigating Women's Health and the Precision Health Initiative (PHI).

For PHI, I helped to organize and facilitate a focus group to learn about the accuracy of fitness trackers and compare the focus group method to the ARC-based research method.
For the Investigating Women's Health project, I collaborated with the University of Edinburgh in a cross-cultural research study. We did research on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and women's health and wrote about our research that explored the miscarriage experience of women in the United States and the United Kingdom.
